Regulations

1. Entry requirements

- Films completed after January 1, 2006 that were not already previously submitted to the selection committee.
- Any type of film (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental). The material must be submitted to one of the following five categories: drama, documentary, music video, animation or commercial.
- For the above mentioned categories different time limits apply. Please make sure you read them carefully:

Drama – no longer than 5 minutes
Documentary – no longer than 5 minutes
Music Video – no longer than 3 minutes
Commercial – no longer than 1 minute
Animation – no longer than 1 minute

- Films submitted by companies or political parties are not accepted.
- Participants must be under 30 years of age.
- The film can be in any EU language. Bear in mind that if you do not subtitle your film, less people will be able to watch it.
- The subject matter of the submission is open, as long as the broader theme of the film deals with the future of Europe.
- Each film must be accompanied by a short content summary of no more than 250 words.
-  You can submit as many films as you like, but we will only consider one for award selection.
- The submission deadline is the 1st of October 2008. Any films submitted after this date will only be accepted at the festivals discretion.
 
2. Entry procedures and selection

-  Participants must enter their films via the Festival’s web site. One still from the film or more (either color or black and white), which can be used   in any publication, and a photo of the director(s), with permission for their use, must be included in the submission. The online entry form must be filled out on the festival website. Entry will only be valid upon receipt of this form.
 
3. Categories

-  The festival is split into 5 distinctive categories: Drama, Commercials, Music Videos, Animation and Documentaries. A film cannot be submitted to more than one category.
 
4. Copyright
- Please, please, please only use original material that you have created yourself, or that you have permission for to use in your submission. Cinerasmus is not responsible for any copyright infringements. If we find out that you have broken copyright law we will remove your film immediately.
